Clean energy: the Company invests in electricity and photovoltaic plants

Since 2014 Brivio & Viganò has decided to integrate electrical vehicles within its company fleet, making these available to employees for journeys between the various premises: these vehicles use cutting-edge technologies to reduce energy consumption and eliminate the emission of pollutants during their use, in full respect of environment.

Reducing consumption is also imperative for the Company when it comes to lighting systems, heating plants and refrigeration of its buildings, which comprise offices and warehouses. In this regard, Brivio & Viganò has invested in the use of alternative energies by impementing a photovoltaic plants comprising two modules, each with a capacity of 200 kWp, to power the Usmate Velate premises.

An important contribution to the protection of the ecosystem and society as a whole which, in addition to producing “clean” energy, has allowed the Company in less than a year to reduce its atmospheric emissions by circa 630,000 kg of CO₂ and to achieve a saving that is equivalent to circa 600 barrels of oil.
